The Sanctuary of Madonna della Corona is near the city of Verona and Lake Garda in Italy.
It's built on a rocky terrace at a height of
774 m and it overlooks the valley of the River Adige.
The sanctuary can be reached on foot or by shuttle bus from the village of Spiazzi. Cars need to be left at the nearby car park.
Alternatively, you can hike the uphill Pilgrim's Path.
It starts from the town of Brentino Belluno. It has an elevation of 600 m and it includes 1,540 steps.
This is one of Italy's most famous sanctuaries dedicated to the Virgin Mary.
